The AST3100 is a low cost, high quality all stainless
steel media isolated Pressure Transmitter intended
for use in the measurement of gases and liquids
compatible with stainless steel. The AST3100 is
suitable for automotive, industrial,
refrigeration, hydraulics, off road, construction
and agriculture applications. The AST3100 has
been designed specifically for the applications
with demanding price and performance requirements.
The competitively priced AST3100 offers a choice
of high level outputs. The high strength stainless
steel construction contains no silicone oil and
no internal "O" rings. Measurements
are available in gauge pressure covering ranges
up to 10,000 PSI.
The AST3100 is ideal for applications needing
high accuracy, excellent long-term stability,
trouble free operation, long life and high performance.
The AST3100 is backed by AST's one-year warranty.
OPTIONS AND SPECIALS
· The AST3100 is available with an output of 0.5
- 4.5 VDC, 1-5 VDC, 0-5VDC, 0-10VDC and 4-20 mA
two wire.
· The AST3100 can be purchased with a variety
of pressure ports.
· For those applications that require unique pressure
connections, calibration, temperature compensation
or electrical connections, AST, Inc. will design
and build to the customer's specifications.
APPLICATIONS
· The AST3100 has features that make it suitable
for use in a wide variety of applications. High
vibrations and shock, electrical noise and temperature
extremes, all of which the AST3100 can handle,
characterize many of these applications.
· Some of AST3100 applications include Industrial
OEM Equipment, Hydraulic Systems, Refrigeration,
Off road and Agriculture Equipment.
PACKAGING
· The AST3100 wetted parts are made from 17-4
PH Stainless Steel which promotes long life and
resistance to media corrosion. This high strength
stainless steel construction also provides good
overrange and burst protection.
· The AST3100 electrical components are protected
by a rugged stainless steel housing which is small
and lightweight for optimum compatibility with
system designs.
· As a totally self contained electronic package,
the AST3100 poly silicon sensing element coupled
with a high level output ASIC circuitry assures
excellent accuracy and long term stability.
WARRANTY
· Workmanship - AST, Inc. pressure transmitters
have a limited one-year warranty to the original
purchaser. AST, Inc. will replace or repair, free
of charge, any defective transmitter. This warranty
does not apply to any units that have been modified;
misused, neglected or installed where the application
exceeds published ratings.
· Installation/Applications - The purchaser is
responsible for compatibility of the media, functional
adequacy and correct installation of the transmitter.
